Our Staff

Pastor Dale A. Van Dyke, Pastor, has served as the Senior Pastor at Harvest Church since 1995. He is happily married to his High School sweetheart (Joanne). They have been blessed with four children and 15 grandchildren. Dale grew up on a dairy farm in Coopersville, Michigan, before eventually attending Dordt College (’85)  and then Westminster Seminary California (’91).  Dale serves our denomination by teaching the preaching course for the MTIOPC (Ministerial Training Institute of the OPC), and by serving on the Church Extension and Home Missions Committee. He also serves the broader church through speaking engagements and serving on the Board of Westminster Seminary California.  Dale enjoys good books, good wine, and perfect summer days on the boat.

Pastor Wayne Veenstra, Associate Pastor, married Suzanne in 2011. Together they have a daughter and three sons. Wayne and Suzanne are both Canadian by birth, having moved to Grand Rapids after getting married so that Wayne could complete his seminary training. He started at Harvest as a pastoral intern in 2015 and was ordained as a pastor in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church in 2017. When he’s not writing sermons or organizing his thoughts in spreadsheets, Wayne enjoys watching and playing baseball (Go Blue Jays!), reading on a wide range of subjects, and tending to his rose garden.

Adrian Crum, Associate Pastor of Youth and Evangelism, is a transplant to West Michigan, having been raised as a missionary kid in Tijuana, Mexico until he moved to college. He met and married the girl he fell in love with in his last year at Providence Christian College, in Ontario, California. They have four daughers: Adelyn, Margaret, Lucy, and Emma. As pastor of youth and evangelism, Adrian is grateful to get to do what he loves for a living: spend time discipling high-schoolers and talking to strangers about the Gospel. He also serves on the Presbytery of Michigan and Ontario's youth commitee and the denomination's diaconal committee. Adrian likes to play the guitar, dance with his girls at the end of a workday, and listen to Andrew Peterson or Mexican romantic music cranked up all the way. Riding a bicycle through a beautiful park (rain, snow, or shine) is the pinnacle experience of soaking up God's glory.

Pastor Daniel Miller, Associate Pastor of Ministry Operations, is married to Ali Miller. Daniel and Ali have three children: Benjamin, John, and Lydia. He was born and raised in Florida and met Ali on the campus of the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. He attended seminary at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and has served at churches in Florida, Illinois, and South Carolina. Daniel is passionate about the gospel of Jesus Christ and the vitality of the local church. On his days off he can be found fiddling around with his smoker, exercising, and spending time outdoors with his family. The Millers love practicing hospitality and spending time with the people of God in table fellowship.
