What I’m Reading:

As for what I’m currently reading, there are several books on the go:

1. Christ and the Kingdoms of Men: Foundations of Political Life by David C. Innes. This book is a primer on what the Bible teaches concerning government. 
2. John Knox by Jane E. A. Dawson. Dawson has written a very engaging biography on the Scottish Reformer John Knox, a key figure in the history of Presbyterianism.
3. Together Through the Storms: A Practical Guide to Christian Care by Sally Sims. This is a basic primer on how to give (and train) Christians to care for other people. The second half of the book is a very practical introduction to how to care for people and would be a great resource for small group leaders, church officers, or other people who engage in visitation.
