Well, here we go - back to school, back to the routines that make up the fabric of our lives. (Vacations provide some color, but you can’t build a life on them….I think. :)

One of the things I love about Harvest folk is your enthusiasm for learning! I love hearing about all the small groups, Bible studies, men’s and women’s groups, book discussion groups, and day-to-day discussions about things that matter! It’s wonderful.

In the interest of learning, I’d like to share some of my online resources where I commonly turn to in order to keep up with current issues in the church and world.

The Aquila Report - “Your independent source for news and commentary from and about conservative, orthodox evangelicals in the Reformed and Presbyterian family of churches". Runs a little “heady” sometimes - but a lot of good material. Content is also posted on their Facebook page.

Tim Challies.com is a favorite. I don’t go there every week, but if I am looking for some thoughtful articles that speak to the Christian life in very practical terms, I first look here. His “A La Carte” posts are always worth checking out! He will also alert you to Kindle deals! Follow on Facebook.

Neil Shenvi labels his writing as “Christian apologetics from a homeschooling theoretical chemist”. I find him very thoughtful, balanced, charitable, and correct! He has done some terrific work on the issue of “critical theory” and how that is impacting the church. I’d love to have him come and speak sometime. I think his message is important and his manner is spot on. Very impressive. Follow on Facebook.

As a final note, here’s a short video clip from Alistair Begg as we get back to Sunday worship routines. Enjoy!
