Sometimes we struggle with knowing how to teach our children to study the Bible.  Sometimes we struggle with studying it ourselves.  At the upcoming Engage seminar on March 10, Pastor Wayne will speak to parents on methods of how to read the Bible with their children in age-appropriate ways.  

When we present our children for baptism, we make promises before God that we will “teach [our children] diligently the principles of our holy Christian faith, revealed in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments…” and that we will “endeavor, by all the means that God has appointed, to bring [them] up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord…” We make promises that we will help our children hear God speak to them through the Bible; but, as parents, we are not always confident about how to study the Bible with our kids.  All parents are encouraged to attend this session as we seek together to gain more confidence and become more equipped in discipling our children in Bible reading.
