Family Camp 2016
When: August 22-26, 2016
Where: Lincoln Lake Youth Camp
Speaker: Dr. Alan Strange
Topic: The Work of Christ and His Spirit in our Lives
Plan now to attend our Michigan-Ontario Presbytery Family Camp, which is scheduled for August 22-26, 2016. We are looking forward to the second year of using the facility at Lincoln Lake Youth Camp and will provide teaching and fun for all ages.
We are thrilled to have Dr. Alan Strange as our speaker this year for our adults and high schoolers. Dr. Strange is no stranger to the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, having been a ministerial member for over 27 years. He currently serves as the Associate Pastor of New Covenant OPC in Joliet, IL.
We live in a time, when many, even some who name the name of Christ, are tempted to think that our salvation lies in politics. But Christ alone, in both his active and passive obedience, in doing for us what we could never do for ourselves, is our salvation. And His Holy Spirit applies to us all the merits and mediations of Christ, bringing Christ to us and us to Christ. The work of the Spirit, particularly in the means of grace as administered in Christ’s church, is what shapes and forms us as Christians, as those who seek to live lives of gratitude for Christ. While this commitment to live for Him extends to our activities in all spheres, the church, as an institution, retains a spiritual character befitting a kingdom that is not of this world. We in the church need to recover a sound view of the spirituality of the church in order to know how the church is to relate to the world in which it finds itself.
Space is limited, so plan now to attend. Registration opens on April 30.
- Registrations are accepted in the order in which they are received with payment.
Rooms and cabins will be assigned as forms are received. If you have a special need to be in a certain area, let us know on your registration form.
If you are willing to share with another family, please indicate with which family you may be willing to share. Cabins fit 11 people and most rooms fit 6. We also have spaces for 22.
Pre-registration is needed from everyone coming to camp. Even if you are coming for only one meal or night, a form must be turned in one week before camp.
Everyone under 18 years of age must have a chaperoning family at camp who agrees to be responsible for them (in case of injury, etc.). Both the parents and the chaperoning adults must sign the registration form.

Family Camp 2015 Praise
We praise the Lord for the wonderful week we had at Family Camp 2015!
We enjoyed the crackling sounds of the campfire, the joyous shouts of children playing in the water, and the beautiful echo of voices raised in worship to our living God.
Next year you won’t want to miss this annual opportunity to fellowship with your fellow church and presbytery members as you grow closer to the Lord.
